What is DevOps?
As the name suggests - DevOps is a combination of Development and Operations that help improve an organization’s systems development process.
It’s an engineering practice that emerged from Agile due to the strain between developers and operations engineers in traditional engineering organizations.
It allows a single team to manage the whole application development lifecycle, consisting of Development, Testing, Deployment, Operations.
DevOps shortens the development lifecycle while delivering features, fixes and functionality frequently in close alignment with business objectives.

Meet your tutor
Ana Jovanovska
Experienced DevOps engineer and Technical Trainer with several years building Infrastructure as a Code with Terraform on AWS and Azure.
Ana started her journey from repairing and working with electronics and computers all her life to studying Front End. That evolved into learning and working as a Back End NodeJS developer and later pushed herself to learn DevOps with the knowledge she had amassed so far.
“I finally found myself – in DevOps the knowledge is never ending, something I was trying to find dearly. The challenges that we face every day, the motivation and adventure one DevOps engineer can experience are hard to describe, this is something one should experience. The accomplishments we do daily are from an epic greatness. We are the people persons. We consume all the knowledge from al the IT workflows. How amazing is that? Reach for the Clouds!”
